Upcoming New Release by Myself

Back in 1997 I sat down and started writing a little story that just hit me as something kids could relate to. Its called Jefferson the Colorful Caterpillar, it's about a little caterpillar that is different from all the others but there is one caterpillar named Joey who is very jealous of his colors and tries everything in his power to change the colors. On February 10th 2014 I will be releasing this children's book for the world to read so I really hope you all enjoy it.

Book Blurb -

Coming Soon by Kathi S Barton

Coming Feb 2014
Riss had been a guardian for as long as there had been humans to watch over. He supposed he should feel honored to be the one to watch over and guide a human to their afterlife. But if he was honest with himself, and really he had no choice in that area, he had been thinking of quitting. A drastic move for one such as himself. Thousands of years watching babies grow up, experience things he'd never do then die was taking its toll on him. A few of his brethren as well. The doors slid open as soon as he came to the one he'd been called to. Tholan, direct supervisor and his good friend stood up but he did not look happy.
Coming March 2014 the end to a great series
“Miss Ravenhall?” When she didn’t answer he moved closer to the bed. He could see that she was attached to several machines and one of them showed her heart rate. It wasn’t good. He said her name a little louder and she looked at him.
“Molly? Is she dead?” He shook his head not sure what he was supposed to do when he couldn’t lie to her. “She’s my savior. I told you that before.”
“You did. I filed the paperwork and did just what I told you I would. Everything is in order.” She closed her eyes and smiled. Phil watched her until she opened them again.
“She will be so mad at me.” Phil thought that was an understatement but said nothing. “I should have listened to her sooner and left him. But I wanted it to work out. No, that’s not true. I didn’t want the press to find out that I’d failed.”
“It’s doubtful that your fans would think you could fail at anything.” She laughed slightly and the monitors started beeping. “Miss Ravenhall, is there anything else I can do for you?”
Phil knew that she was as good as dead. There was no way she’d be able to come back from the damage done to her. He was surprised that she was this coherent. The wrapping around her head did nothing to hide the fact that she’d been shot twice in the head. He could tell the damage done to her brain.

Blurb to come

Prelude Cover Reveal by Nely Cab

I am more than proud to announce the new cover of Nely Cabs newest Novella due to be released February 3rd.

Prelude – Creatura 0.5
It’s not easy creating life, but that’s what Deus was meant to do. And as amazing as his new creations may be, Deus finds that there’s nothing wonderful about being the only person in existence. Using his power, he molds a companion to keep him company; only, something goes awry and Starr soon proves to be as wild as the animals he’s crafted.
What do you do when the only other person in the universe hates you? You fall in love, of course…because that’s how forever begins.
